What makes Gut Balancing different?
Many functional doctors and practitioners treating autism may utilize antibiotics, including strong antimicrobial herbs, with the goal of eradicating dysbiosis or chronic infections. While this can bring temporary relief, it may lead to long term collateral damage to the microbiome, as beneficial microbes like Bifidobacteria are particularly sensitive to antimicrobials. Our protocols are designed to gently target harmful bacteria while regrowing the body's own beneficial bacteria, while addressing the complex relationship between the microbiome and cognitive function/behavior. By focusing on precision nutrition, microbial diversity, and supporting underlying pathophysiologies, we empower families to build a foundation for improved communication, behavior, and overall wellness for children with moderate to severe autism.
Gut Balancing Packages
Select your package to begin the intake process. Then you will buy your stool test, and after sending in your stool test, schedule your 30-minute intake consultation. Once you receive your results, we will customize a 6-week supplement protocol tailored to shift your gut microbiome to a healthier state. After 6 weeks, retest and continue on a maintenance protocol up to 4 more weeks while we wait for the new results to see what has changed. Participants often continue to see symptom improvements into their 3rd round and beyond, as it takes time to achieve an optimal balance.
